Game Night Take Aways – April 30, 2010

 

Thanks for coming to our April game night!  We hope you had fun, and that you will remember the verses we talked about tonight, and how they apply to God’s desire to have a close relationship with you:

Getting to know God, reading the Bible, attending church activities or spending time with others that do, can help guide you through life, as you’ll see in the two verses below:

 

Psalm 119:105 (New International Version)

 105 Your word is a lamp to my feet 
       and a light for my path.

 

 

Isaiah 58:11 (New International Version)

 11 The LORD will guide you always; 
       he will satisfy your needs in a sun-scorched land 
       and will strengthen your frame. 
       You will be like a well-watered garden, 
       like a spring whose waters never fail.

 

God wants to help you – but he doesn’t force himself on you. 

He is always there – just a prayer away – call on him, talk to him, and ask him for help.

 1 God is our refuge and strength, 
       an ever-present help in trouble.

 

God LOVES you!  He created you, he sent his son to die on the cross for you. 

He does have a plan for your life.  Make God an important part of your life, and trust him to guide and direct your future.
